Huphi (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and other applicable South African laws.

- Account information: email address and authentication identifiers needed to create and secure your account.
- Transaction information: products purchased (airtime, data, prepaid electricity, prepaid water), amounts, timestamps, order references, and delivery status.

- Cookies and similar technologies: necessary cookies for core functionality, and optional cookies (analytics/marketing) only if you enable them.
- Support communications: information you provide when contacting us (for example, helpdesk messages).

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers strictly for operating Huphi and delivering services, such as:
- Payment service providers (to process payments)
- Delivery/network providers (to fulfill digital products)
- Hosting, security, and fraud-prevention service providers
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights and users (for example, investigating fraud or security incidents).

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention requirements.
